To strengthen their European Corporate Purchasing Team, we are looking for Metal Commodity Buyers with Europe-wide responsibility for direct purchasing. The position can be based at one of their sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, or Poland.
Manage several commodity-related categories across the company's main plants and office locations in Europe.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
Conduct tenders, price negotiations, and contract discussions using appropriate e-procurement tools and techniques.
Coordinate supplier selection in close collaboration with relevant corporate departments and production sites.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure their realization.
Deploy strategies and implement framework agreements at the production sites.
University degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in direct purchasing within an international industrial environment, with strong expertise in cost and market analysis.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
High level of commitment, hands-on mentality, resilience under pressure, and intercultural competence.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Fluent in English; German, Polish, or Czech language skills are an advantage.
Proficient in SAP and MS Office; experience with e-procurement tools is a plus.
