Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to enhance the marketing operations team's impact and project velocity.This senior role is critical for optimizing our marketing technology stack, ensuring the integrity and usability of our marketing data, and streamlining key processes, directly impacting our ability to scale. This position requires strong hands on/technical skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across multiple internal teams.

This role encompasses several key areas critical to the success of our marketing operations, ensuring our team is equipped with the right tools, data, and processes to excel:
Marketing technology management:
Lead the configuration & continuous optimization of our marketing technology platforms.
Proactively troubleshoot technical issues, collaborating with Sales, IT, engineering, and external vendors for timely resolution
Marketing data governance and quality management:
Define & enforce data standards, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and cleanliness of marketing data across all systems, acting as a steward for marketing data integrity.
Ensure seamless integration and robust data flow between our MarTech stack and Salesforce/other business systems.
Campaign operations support:
Manage and refine Inbound workflows, from the moment a lead is captured, through data enrichment, accurate assignment, and seamless handover to the sales team.
Act as a first point of contact for the marketing team to identify, diagnose, and resolve any operational issues related to campaign deployment, tracking, or data flow.
Lead scoring and routing:
Design, and integrate a lead scoring model, presenting recommendations on fit/behavioral attributes, point values, and thresholds that align with sales readiness.
Regularly audit the lead flow from marketing to sales, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the lead scoring and routing process, and recommend adjustments to improve sales acceptance.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years MarTech Operations experience (platform configuration and optimization)
Data governance and seamless system integration expertise.
Deep understanding of inbound lead workflows including improving data quality, and streamlining complex processes.
Experience within a fast-paced SaaS B2B environment is essential.
Expert-level proficiency in managing and optimizing Salesforce for marketing.
Extensive hands-on experience with leading marketing automation platforms, including advanced campaign management, lead scoring, segmentation, and automation rules.
Strong working knowledge of Zapier with a proven ability to build, manage, and optimize complex multi-step Zaps for various integrations.
Solid understanding of CRM data structures, marketing automation workflows, and database management principles.
Proficiency in project management software (Jira or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with customer engagement/lifecycle marketing platforms.
Relevant certifications in technologies such as Salesforce, Pardot or HubSpot.
Familiarity with CDP, data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and BI tools.
Strong working knowledge of Zapier & familiarity with low-code automation tools.

Deep, practical experience with modern search technologies. Hands-on experience working with and scaling vector databases (Vespa is preferred).
Strong programming skills in Python. Practical experience with Java is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of machine learning concepts applied to search (learning-to-rank, embeddings, language model quantization…).
Experience in environments where search quality is measured through offline evaluation, human-in-the-loop systems, or content-based heuristics.
