World-leading textile and fasteners manufacturer is seeking a Senior R&D Enginner for its plant located in Barcelona.
Lead and execute R&D projects in plastic extrusion, injection molding, and hardware design, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and schedules.
Lead, design and/or develop one or more of the following: new test methods, specifications, technical apparatus, and processes for complex components and functions.
Design and oversee experiments, analyze complex data, and manage multiple projects to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams to transition concepts to production.
Effectively communicate technical information to a multidisciplinary team and management in the form of documentation, presentations and technical summaries.
Provide technical support for Corrective Action Prevention Action (CAPA) or complaint investigations.
Ensure compliance with company quality and safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Requisitos mínimos
5 to 7+ years of experience in product development with strong focus on engineering design, plastic processing (extrusion, injection molding), and/or hardware development.
Proven success in leading R&D projects, with solid project management and financial acumen (cost drivers, investment control).
Proficient in technical tools including Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Willingness to work on-site regularly, engage directly with production teams, and travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 10%).
