The CIDETEC Energy Storage institute is looking for a person to join its staff in the Battery Testing Unit, where the batteries of the future for all type of applications are tested and validated.

We develop technology and knowledge at any stage all the value battery chain: from material and chemistry all the way up to integration in the final application. We design, develop and test cells, modules and battery packs to meet our customers’ needs and demands.
Your contribution
You will join the Battery Testing Unit and your work will focus on the following activities:
- Support the management, monitoring, and coordination of daily operational activities within the testing unit.
- Take a leading role in projects related to the accreditation of new certifications and the implementation of project management processes and workflows, ensuring successful, efficient, and timely project execution.
- Lead initiatives focused on quality improvement by providing data-driven insights that enhance project execution efficiency, result quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and implementation of an operational dashboard to monitor and evaluate the unit’s activity, efficiency, and performance.
- Manage internal projects related to the implementation of new capacities within the unit.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of internal protocols and workflows to ensure compliance, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of new protocols.
- Support the operational management of the unit in various capacities as required.

Education:
Master/Degree level in related discipline.
Languages:
Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
Knowledge:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound knowledge in:
- +3 years’ experience in operations control, quality or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with ERP/CRM systems.
- Knowledge of project managing methodologies (Agile, Prince 2, Lean Six Sigma)
- High attention to detail and sense of commitment.
Knowledge and experience of the following will be considered a plus:
- Experience within a laboratory environment, testing centre, automotive or energy storage systems.
Observations:
A highly motivated person, with a keen interest in research and innovation, you will join a multidisciplinary team. You will be able to organise your work, meeting both the deadlines and the established objectives. Problem-solving capacity and scientific criteria. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Having undertaken a placement abroad and more than 3 years’ work experience will be considered a plus.
