Finance Manager, OKU Ibiza

In this position, you will play a crucial role in the overall financial management of the hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to join the popular and growing hotel & lifestyle brand at a pivotal phase in its growth. You will be responsible for developing the systems, tools and maintaining strong relationships with the OKU Ibiza team, ensuring project success, and our brand standards across the hotel’s finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
* Manage and administer all the hotel's accounting processes and supervise the financial operations of the different outlets/departments
* Manage and supervise the day-to-day tasks of the team in charge to guarantee their correct development
* Maintain correct and professional communication with the team and other hotel departments
* Make certain entry records for accounting closing, invoice control, tax preparation and presentation
* Analytical accounting by departments. Knowledge and use of the accounting system
* Knowledge of hotel systems: PMS, POS, and purchasing
* Preparation of all types of economic-financial reports to support management decision-making
* Carrying out monthly reporting, seeing its coherence with accounting and management reports
* Annual budget management, review and monitoring through Forecasting and internal reporting
* Definition of indicators (KPI) for monitoring activity and control of their application
* Manage internal and external audits according to company policy

Requisitos mínimos
* You will have working knowledge of various software programmess and you have to be experienced in accounting ERPs
* Experience in ICG software will be a plus
* Advanced use of Excel. Creation of squares through the use of formulas and pivot tables
* Your competencies include critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills
* You must have a minimum of five years' experience in the finance department in the hotel industry, preferably in 5-star hotels. Knowledge of the PGC and Spanish taxes is a must
* Degree in Business Administration and/or Business Administration
* Fluent in Spanish and English, further languages desirable
* Elegible to work in EU
* Passionate about hospitality and an enthusiastic demeanor, with a desire
