We are seeking enthusiastic Hotel Sales & Events Manager to join our team and contribute to the laid-back luxury atmosphere of our five-star resort. The Sales & Events Manager is responsible for driving event revenue by proactively selling the hotel's event spaces and ensuring the flawless planning and execution of each event. This dual role combines strategic sales outreach with hands-on event coordination, working closely with F&B, operations, front office, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional experiences for clients and guests.

OKU Hotels is a boutique collection of soulfully-curated, laid-back luxury hotels, created for the modern traveler. Meticulously designed sanctuaries are conceived with barefoot luxury, local connections, and slow living at heart.
OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Turkey, Spain and the Maldives. OKU is targeting to own and/or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide, over the next five years.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Sales & Business Development
* Sell the hotel’s event spaces (banquets, rooftop, restaurants, meeting rooms, suites) for corporate, social, lifestyle, and brand events.
* Build relationships with key accounts, event agencies, planners, and local partners to generate leads.
* Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and proposal presentations.
* Negotiate contracts, packages, and pricing aligned with revenue targets and brand positioning.
Event Planning & Coordination
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients from inquiry through to event completion.
* Translate client briefs into actionable plans, coordinating all event logistics.
* Collaborate with F&B, Rooms Division, AV, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
* Attend and oversee events on the day to guarantee quality, timing, and guest satisfaction.
Internal Communication & Execution
* Lead internal event briefing meetings to align all stakeholders.
* Ensure BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and timelines are accurate and shared across departments.
* Monitor event setup, service delivery, and breakdown in line with brand standards.
Reporting & Admin
* Maintain accurate CRM and booking records (Opera).
* Track sales performance and produce regular reports on pipeline, conversions, and feedback.
* Follow up with clients post-event for feedback and future opportunities.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Passion for hospitality and a commitment to supporting the delivery of exceptional guest/groups experiences, representing the OKU philosophy.
* Experience in hotel sales and event management (minimum 2 years preferred).
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Team-oriented with the flexibility to work cross-functionally.
* Fluency in English or Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
