RavenPack is seeking a skilled Full Stack Architect to lead the architecture of innovative solutions for the Internal Tools department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern technologies and a proven track record in designing serverless systems on AWS and decoupling monolithic applications into microservices.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable serverless systems on AWS.
Lead the decoupling of services from monolithic applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Front End Development: 2+ years (preferably with JavaScript and React)
Back End Development: 5+ years (preferably with Python and FastAPI)
Cloud Provider: 2+ years (experience with AWS preferred)
CI/CD Frameworks: 2+ years (experience with build pipelines and infrastructure as code, CDK preferred)
Database Knowledge: Proficiency in PL/SQL and writing stored procedures
Experience with NoSQL databases or search engines (ElasticSearch preferred)
Proven experience as a technical lead.
Experience with event-based systems and serverless technologies.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in AWS EC2 and ECS.
Hands-on experience with Docker containers.
Proven ability to diagram complex systems.
Proficiency in the Django Python framework.
Your responsibilities as a Full Stack Architect
You will be working with a team of Developers, QA, and Product Managers to maintain and improve the internal tools application portfolio. You will manage RavenPack’s metadata, including over 21 million entities and 300,000 templates, contributing to the company's core business. RavenPack has built market-leading products that rely on this internal data, and our services extract value from about a million documents every single day.
Work with large datasets to make them usable for research professionals.
Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and improve web-based applications.
Continuously improve processes, implement engineering best practices, and develop automated solutions.
Collaborate with Engineers, Managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions and meet client expectations.
