RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

* Perform painting and touch-up work throughout all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
* Prepare surfaces, repair imperfections, and apply paint, varnish, or necessary treatments to maintain aesthetics and protect structures.
* Identify and resolve painting issues such as chipping, dampness, or minor damage to walls and ceilings.
* Maintain the cleanliness and order of the work area, as well as painting tools and equipment.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team on general repair and preventative tasks when needed, such as carpentry touch-ups or minor repairs.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals and tools.
* Accurately record painting and maintenance activities performed.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Proven experience as a painter, preferably in hotels or similar environments where finish quality is paramount.
* In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and the use of different types of paint and materials.
* Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions in painting work.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

* Knowledge of different paint types (plastic, enamel, epoxy, etc.) and their applications.
* Familiarity with wallpapering or coating techniques if applicable.
* Understanding of safety regulations and procedures for safe product handling.

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL PUESTO

* Realizar trabajos de pintura y retoques en todas las áreas del hotel, incluyendo habitaciones de huéspedes, zonas comunes y áreas de servicio.
* Preparar superficies, reparar imperfecciones y aplicar pintura, barniz o tratamientos necesarios para mantener la estética y proteger las estructuras.
* Identificar y solucionar problemas de pintura, como desconchados, humedades o daños menores en paredes y techos.
* Mantener el orden y la limpieza del área de trabajo, así como de las herramientas y equipos de pintura.
* Colaborar con el equipo de mantenimiento en tareas generales de reparación y prevención cuando sea necesario, como retoques de carpintería o reparaciones menores.
* Asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de seguridad, especialmente en el manejo de productos químicos y herramientas.
* Registrar de forma precisa las actividades de pintura y mantenimiento realizadas.


REQUISITOS

* Experiencia demostrable como pintor, preferiblemente en hoteles o entornos similares donde la calidad del acabado es primordial.
* Conocimiento profundo de técnicas de pintura, preparación de superficies y uso de diferentes tipos de pintura y materiales.
* Capacidad para identificar problemas y aplicar soluciones efectivas en trabajos de pintura.
* Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma y en equipo.
