About the Position
We are looking for a proactive, methodical, and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the accounting department with administrative and accounting tasks under Spanish regulations. This position is ideal for someone with English knowledge, capable of understanding written documentation, and a flexible attitude to handle a variety of tasks related to cost tracking, accounting entries, and administrative follow-up.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Mode: 100% on-site (office)
Main Responsibilities
Record accounting entries in the system in accordance with the Spanish General Accounting Plan.
Assist in cost management and accounting allocations.
Manage employee expense reports.
Review and file accounting and administrative documentation.
Perform bank reconciliations and review statements.
Prepare simple reports and support monthly closings.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper expense allocation.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits or internal requirements.
Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
Requirements
Previous experience in Spanish accounting (minimum 1 year).
Medium level of English (ability to read and understand documents, communication with international teams).
Methodical, detail-oriented, and organized person.
Proficient in Excel and accounting software (experience with ERPs is a plus).
Good team spirit and clear communication skills.
