KERIONICS is developing high temperature electrolyzers and fuel cells stacks (SOEC-SOFC) for green hydrogen production and similar applications and to face this challenge, they are looking for a SOEC Stack Development Leader.



About the Role


KERIONICS has created a new position for an engineering leader who would like to be part of a company with high growth expectations. The person recruited will work closely with engineers and scientists in the New Product Introduction pipeline and will play a key role in the industrialization of the new products developed.


In this role you will take ownership of designing and scaling up the design of Solid Oxide Electrolyzer stack. Your efforts will directly impact KERIONICS' ability to achieve the performance and the efficiency benchmarks required to shape the future of clean energy solutions.

Responsibilties:


  • Lead the development and optimization of Solid Oxide Electrolyser Stacks from initial concept through all the development process stages up to the final product implementation.

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources for the stack development project.

  • Lead and mentor technicians, engineers, and scientists within the stack development team.

  • Cooperate closely with membrane electrode assembly (MEA), balance of plant (BOP) and testing teams with aim of receiving and providing relevant feedback assuring achieving the best possible final product implementation.

  • Generate detailed reports on process development progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Take part in the recruitment process for the stack team and grant application preparation processes



Requisitos mínimos
  • Advanced degree in Mechanical, Material or Chemical Engineering

  • Relevant experience in hydrogen/fuel cell industry (5 years plus)

  • Experience in CAD design (2 years plus) and passion for design engineering

  • Project management experience (2 years)

  • Expert knowledge of heat transfer and gas/fluid flow

  • Understanding of the electrochemical processes

  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a fast-moving team

  • Teamwork, integrity, positive attitude, and professionalism

  • Excellent communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus
