Our client belongs to a multinational group with over 1,000 employees and more than 40,000 active clients in 25 countries, handling a volume of 7,000 orders per day.





  • Country Responsibility : Responsibility of all activities on Operational Purchasing with the Purchasing Team. Ensure a smooth P2P process and lead activities to optimise processes and improve KPIs in operational purchasing. Member of the Local Management Team.

  • Purchasing Strategy: Ensure the realisation of the Purchasing strategy of a Group and recommended by the Regional Purchase Manager with the Team

  • Business Partner Sales & Product Management : Ensure with your team that all customer orders are considered in time and that the team can provide all needed information for creation of new products. Continuous alignment with Sales / CEA on demand.

  • Lead Time / Delivery date : Ensure with Team the daily update of open orders delivery dates and weekly update of Lead Time by the biggest supplier

  • KPI Analysis: Provide reports and Analysis on different KPI´s on the country. Provide explanation on deviation and propose action plan to be aligned with the Regional Purchasing manager.

  • Inventory : Ensure the forecasts on each material in order to optimize the stock level and purchase the needed quantities at right time. Transparency and Responsibility on the spend buying budget according to the monthly targets.

  • E&O : Analyse the non moving stock within your country and check sales possibilities / sharing within the group. Align with the Regional Manager on sales out possibilities and follow the reduction of slow moving / dead stock. Alert on risk

  • Purchasing Data SAP : Be proactive with the Purchasing Team and act on all needed updates in SAP in order to avoid issues by ordering and deliveries.

  • Purchase Price and Standard cost : Calculate and prepare files of purchase prices updates. Communicate to all interface department the changes and ensure the MM Team has all information in order to upload the changes in SAP.

  • Operational Purchase Processes : Propose adaptation / optimization on processes related to the needs, and align with Regional Managers. Act on decision and ensure the purchasing team is trained and can follow the changes.

  • Interface department : work closely with the different department on optimization of the performance. Support strategic procurement in cost saving initiatives: Proactively provide input and feedback


Key Performance Indicators :


  • Inventory level : Act on the stock level evolution, explain evolution and ensure the defined Target.

  • Delivery performance : reduce the delivery time through proactive stock management

  • Availability : 97,5% Availability on Stocked Material / Best sellers

  • Back order : Working with the team on reducing Back orders / searching solution to receive the merchandise in time.

  • Manual Order Intervention: Working with Master Data - IT- and Warehouse functions to ensure the reduction of Manual Interventions. Ensure that all data are available for New Product to be created in 72h maximum

Requisitos mínimos

  • Qualification in Business, Engineering or similar

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Purchasing and leading a Team

  • Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes especially in Forecasting and planning

  • Experience in sales and marketing collaboration, with the ability to align cross-functional teams towards common goals.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and procurement software and SAP

  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and managing a diverse team.

  • Strong Feedback back driven Culture

  • Languages : English, Spanish
