  • Data Engineer. Analytics.

  • To liaise with business SMEs to achieve a common understanding of the business challenge, their needs, data requirements and expected output.

  • To be responsible for the development and maintenance of automated, repeatable processes for integrating data and providing it to business analytics users in an appropriate format.

  • Working with architects and developers, provide technical input into matching the best technology to the use case and develop an ongoing process.

  • To work closely within a cross functional team to scope, develop, articulate progress and results including business case to progress further. (End to end Technical to business use).

  • Work with SMEs to analyze the data.

  • Work with architect to develop process for production use cases.

  • Actively championing analytics across all areas and levels of the business.

  • Working on all aspects of the project as needed by the overall team.

  • To be responsible for maintaining standards around the use and access to data, ensuring adherence to internal and external regulatory factors.

Requisitos mínimos

  • Data manipulation and extraction tools.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the tools and processes to ensure data security, quality and accuracy.

  • Knowledge and capability of Microsoft Azure toolset.

  • Significant Knowledge and capability of market leading BI and analytics tools / processes outputs etc.

  • Proven experience of detailed data analysis and manipulation.

  • Knowledge in PySpark

  • Proven experience and knowledge of and can demonstrate use of best practice data management and in particular data administration.

  • Experience of working in a busy environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy at all times and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Experience gained to proactively build and maintain relationships both externally and with customers throughout the company.

  • Proven experience of leading data centric or technical projects.

  • Proven experience in mentoring or managing technical teams in the use of technical software, design, modelling and information management.
