EURECAT - Technology Center of Catalonia is seeking a highly motivated researcher in innovative products for sustainable mobility for its Product Innovation and Multiphysics Simulation unit.

This unit supports companies in the technological development of new products, offering distinctive value propositions with a multidisciplinary approach that integrates Eurecat's various technologies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new solutions, such as battery design and hydrogen production, storage, and utilization.

Our group specializes in the development of innovative products, from initial concepts to the first series. We also have a strong background in multiphysics simulation applied to products and industrial processes, focusing primarily on mechanical, thermal, CFD, and electrochemical analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participating in the definition and development of new product concepts. Detailed Design with 3dCAD software (solidworks)


• Scientific contribution to the advances of the projects.


• Participating in the preparation of scientific publications.


• Supporting project management to ensure proper project execution.


• Establish and maintain contact with clients and partners in consortium.


• Participate in European and national research projects in the field of sustainable mobility.


• Work on the design of battery packs and hydrogen storage systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: MSc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.


• Desired knowledge of sustainable mobility products: battery design, H2 production, storage and use.


• Experience participating in Research Projects such as Horizon Europe or H2020.


• Extensive experience with 3D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks; knowledge of Catia is a plus.


• Good knowledge of English and Spanish is required.


• 3-4 years of experience in similar roles.


• Availability to travel occasionally (2-3 travels across Europe per year).
