Key Responsibilities:



  • Build a strong understanding of business strategy, enterprise needs and market forces

  • Comprehend, contribute to, and foster the enterprise IT strategies and architecture

  • Proactively identify, raise and articulate gaps, problems and opportunities in the enterprise landscape, stating the value and risk of each

  • Steer and shape the definition of requirements, processes and other business models

  • Determine and document suitable solution architectures (changes to the enterprise landscape) in a variety of forms and levels of detail, along with the initiatives and approach to deliver them, in consideration of the bigger picture

  • Assess value, risk and impact of tech-related ideas, proposals and opportunities, and advise leadership accordingly

  • Identify, raise and manage key architecture decisions, and develop, document and present options for each, along with the key implications, in a manner understandable by key business leaders

  • Steer delivery and technical teams in the implementation of solution architectures and architecture decisions

  • Act as a custodian of the enterprise architecture and landscape, to ensure the broader concerns and non-functional needs of the business from the immediate through to the long term are represented at all times

  • Manage relationships, provide advice (aligned to the enterprise architecture) and explain complex concepts in simple, non-technical manner to business leadership and other non-technical stakeholders

  • Mentoring and guidance to business partners, product owners and key delivery personnel including project managers, business analysts, technical architects and technical leads

The role has no financial authority

Qualifications:

There are no formal qualification requirements, although the following are desirable:


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

  • TOGAF

  • Recognised Solution Architecture qualification

Requisitos mínimos

Skills/Experience:Key skills required are:


  • Strong relationship management and collaboration (with senior leadership, delivery and technical personnel)

  • Excellent communication and presentation

  • Solutions architecture (enterprise-wide, not system or technology-specific)

  • Business analysis and modelling

  • Software architecture and design

  • Integration architecture and design

  • Data architecture and modelling

  • Strong analytical thinking

  • Ability to create structure and clarity from ambiguity

  • Ability to communicate complex topics in simple terms


Experience desirable:


  • Work in an IT-related role for 10+ years

  • Work in a similar role for 5+ years desirable

  • Work on Sales, Marketing, Digital or CRM projects and systems for 5+ years desirable

  • Work on Salesforce projects and systems desirable

  • Work in various IT product or delivery roles

  • Demonstrable delivery of the skills given above

  • Working in a cloud, buy-over-build landscape

  • Working in a multi-vendor IT sourcing environment

  • Enterprises of a similar size and geographic distribution to PageGroup

  • Working in a global, multi-regional environment

  • Strong understanding of IT industry trends and methodologies
