• A leading Spanish multinational in the industrial sector, employing more than 20,000 professionals globally, is looking to hire a Tax Director to join its team.

As a Group´s Tax Director you will take care of the Company's tax strategy, focus on: all tax related aspects of our M&A activity, corporate and finance restructurings, intercompany tax structures, compliance, and audits among others.

The ideal candidate will have excellent digital and project management skills, a general ambition/ willingness to grow their technological skills and support the Group in developing a data-driven and future-proof vision on our tax technology strategy.Main tasks:

• Lead the tax aspects of M&A deals & finance and corporate restructurings globally.


• Support regions with all tax matters related to cross-border operations & transfer pricing regulations, with the support of local teams and advisors.


• Supervise reporting of the key figures in tax and track the compliance status. Local teams and/or advisors responsible for all preparation and filings.


• Supervise the development of any Tax Audits handled at a local level.


• Support process improvement initiatives to increase overall efficiency of the compliance process handled at a local level.


• Partner with business leaders, tax, finance, treasury, legal, and external advisers on various business initiatives to coordinate and compile data for modelling in relation to tax structuring.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or related field.


• 10 years of relevant professional experience within global multinational and/or public accounting in a similar position.


• Familiar with tax accounting and international tax issues relevant to position.


• Detail oriented, and a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Sound judgement and ability to effectively communicate recommendations regarding tax issues to all stakeholders.


• Business proficient communication skills in English & Spanish.


• Passion in technology. Ready and able to learn new IT skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Tools, including high level experience of Excel.


• Familiarity with SAP preferred.
