Description of function


We are looking for a Systems Administrator to work in our Enterprise Services department. This role will be focused on the IT infrastructure projects with our customers about on-premises equipment and Cloud environments.


The main tasks for the role will include:

* Oversee the ticketing and support requests from the customers.
* Preventive maintenance (keeping up to date and patched) of the customers IT infrastructure.

* Corrective maintenance (identify, troubleshoot and resolve) for any incidents raised by the monitoring tools or the end customer reported directly or in our ticketing systems.

* Develop documentation, diagrams and processes to improve the day-to-day tasks.

* Develop automation for recurring tasks on on-premises server infrastructure and in the cloud.

* Create monthly reports of the supported infrastructure.

* Participate or lead projects related to the technologies listed below.

* Work closely with transversal departments and presales to help them develop and understand the portfolio of products and services.





We work with technologies such as those listed below:


* Hyperconvergence systems (Nutanix) and virtualization environments like VMWare and Hyper-V as well as public cloud on Azure and AWS.

* Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

* Software defined storage (DataCore, Ceph).

* Programming and/or scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible...).

* Monitoring tools such as Zabbix or PRTG and visualization tools such as Grafana.

* Backup and recovery tools such as Veeam.

Requisitos mínimos
Minimum Requirements

* Experience administering Microsoft environments, Active Directory, patching management, backup and recovery and monitoring in big environments.

* Experience in virtualization environments as VMWare and Hyper-V

* Fluent in English, written and spoken.

* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
