The Exchange Coordinator will be responsible for managing the complete cycle of incoming exchange students—handling nominations, applications, orientation, academic coordination, and ongoing support. Additionally, the role oversees the planning, execution, and outcomes of case competitions like UNICC, enhancing the School’s global reach.


Incoming Student Management


  • Coordinate with partner universities to receive student nominations.

  • Guide exchange students through the application process, and monitor deadlines.

  • Prepare the course catalog for incoming students.

  • Advise on course selection, ensuring access to both Spanish and English-taught options relevant to their program.

  • Provide orientation (Welcome Week) and act as main point of contact throughout students’ stay.

  • Liaise with faculty and staff to integrate exchange students into degree-specific and extracurricular offerings.

Case Competition Management


  • Manage the University of Navarra International Case Competition (UNICC):
    • Lead logistics, stage setup, participant coordination, sponsor relations, and budgeting.

    • Coordinates de organizing committee.

    • Define roles, deadlines, regulatory frameworks, and judge coordination.

    • Evaluate outcomes and deliver post-event reporting.


  • Support additional strategy/business case competitions and student clubs in planning and execution (e.g., club-level, national/international competitions).

Outreach & Marketing


  • Promote exchange opportunities and case competitions via digital and campus channels.

  • Engage with partner institutions to establish new agreements and enhance existing ones.

Quality Assurance & Reporting


  • Monitor satisfaction and academic performance of exchange students.

  • Prepare annual reports, analytics, and proposals for process improvements.

  • Ensure adherence to University and School internal policies.



Requisitos mínimos

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, International Relations, or similar).

  • Event planning skills—preferably related to educational competitions or conferences.

  • Strong intercultural communication skills (English & Spanish fluency required).

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to process detail (deadlines/nominations).

  • Proficiency with academic information systems and comfort with data analysis tools.

Preferred Profile


  • Experience in international student services, academic advising, or higher-ed program coordination.

  • Experience coordinating case competitions (e.g., UNICC)

  • Familiarity with visa processes and EU/non-EU student regulations.

  • Past involvement in mentoring or student support programs (e.g., buddy systems).

Working Relationships


  • Reports to: Director of the International Relations Office, School of Economics & Business.

  • Coordinates with: Faculty academic leads, Studies Coordination, partner universities, Admissions Office, International Relations Service, service departments (housing, visa, etc.).
