Reporting directly to the General Manager in Spain:

* Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the company's objectives and management system, study the feasibility of new projects and investments

* Provide supervision, monitoring and development of the operations, with site managers as direct reports

* Manage and develop the QHSE department to maintain and enhance compliance with industry standards and regulations * Define and monitor quantitative and qualitative production targets

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and workplace safety

* Support the QHSE teams in promoting the safety culture within the sites and in implementing the safety policy by defining targets for each site

* Manage the industrial satisfaction of customers, maintaining a relationship with them that complements the one of the site managers on operational and organisational issues

* Pilot contracts reviews and ensure that they are aligned with the services we provide daily to our upstream customers * Develop and supervise the industrial performance to enhance our competitiveness

* Participate in the definition of the investment policy and the implementation of new means and equipment of production (balers, machines, cranes, trucks...)

* Manage the schedule of materials to be prepared, taking into account sales forecasts, stocks and finished products, in cooperation with the sales department * Ensure the reliability of the inventory reporting

* Carry out budgetary monitoring

* Supervise the proper management of CAE platforms like CTAIMA (H&S legal requirements)

* Be responsible for the application of internal quality standards and those of customers as well as safety and hygiene standards

* Be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and control of environmental regulations



Fixed salary, bonus and company car




Requisitos mínimos

  • Education: University degree in mechanical engineering or other suitable education




* At least 7 years of managing experience, preferably in steel or foundry industry and/or automotive industry

* Strong knowledge and experience in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams

* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

* Customer and results oriented

* Highly trustful and reliable personality

* Readiness to travel

* Written and spoken English (mandatory)
