Reporting to the Head of Southern Europe, your main responsibilities will be:
* Lead the Europe Finance Operations (including GL, AP, AR and Treasury activities) by supporting the Accounting Manager (AP & GL teams) and Credit Risk & Treasury Manager (AR teams) to resolve complex matters and/or incidences and define priorities;
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
* Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization to enhance efficiency and improve service quality after the recent implementation of the new ERP (Dynamics 365);
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross functional alignment with business objectives and to support decision-making;
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, Finance Business Partners, and functional leaders to understand their service needs, priorities, and expectations;
* Serve as a key point of contact for escalations, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives related to Finance Operations;
* Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the teams to drive performance excellence, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and achieve service delivery targets;
* Establish performance metrics, goals, and KPIs for the finance team and monitor progress towards objectives;
* Effectively leading, coaching, developing, and motivating the team to achieve the team's objectives and their personal development goals while ensuring and promoting a collaborative culture aligned with our company valued behaviors;
* Conducts Team meetings, cascading general business information, as well as establishing a company culture within the Group to encourage employees to volunteer innovative ideas, put forward improvements and participate in the development of the Team;
* Proactively and visibly supports the Employee Well-being.

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting. Professional certification (CPA) or previous Big4 Experience preferred.
* Progressive experience in Finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Finance Operations or a similar environment.
* Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational excellence.
* Strong understanding of Finance Operations, processes, and best practices, with strong expertise in areas such accounting.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
* Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable plans and initiatives.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies, change management practices, technology solutions (ERP systems - especially in D365), workflow automation tools, etc..).
