Mission:

Analyze and reconstitute fragances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in fine Fragance, Personal Carte, Air Care and Household.

Functions:

• Analyze fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, customer oils, Personal Care, Air Care and Household.


• Work on fragrance formula reconstitution.


• Lead individual analytical projects and exchange and discuss results with Perfumers.


• Determine the fragrance dosage of alcoholic samples.


• Extract fragrances from personal care & household products


• Run maintenance of the GC/MS/FID equipment


• Interact with internal departments such as Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D & Evaluation


• Maintain and develop a high level of fragrance raw material knowledge (Analytical and Olfactory)

Requirements:

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 4/5 years study in chemistry, ideally with specialization in chemical analysis.


• Minimum of 4 years working experience in GC/MS analysis in the Fragrance Industry with exposure to perfumery raw materials and fragrances.


• Ideally with previous experience of middle east market products.

Languages:

• High English Level.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry studies, ideally with a specialization in chemical analysis.

Competencies:

• Results oriented, able to work autonomously.


• Ability to work under tight deadlines.


• Good Laboratory Practices.


• Strong communicator with external and internal connections. Able to transmit relevant information (ideas/concepts) to internal departments..


• Proactive attitude, ability to propose new ideas to modify or Study in chemistry, ideally with specialization in chemical analysis.


• Good team-player.


• Quick-learner


• Flexible yet methodical with attention for detail.


• Good ability to smell with ideally an olfactive knowledge of perfumery raw materials. Ability to manage own projects.
