European Shared Services Hub for a leading multinational insurance group.

Controlling & Reporting

• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.


• Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements at regional and group level.


• Coordinate with local finance teams across entities to gather and validate financial data.


• Develop and deliver regular financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).


• Conduct periodic analytical reporting on profitability by business line, product, region, and client segments.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, aligning financial planning with group strategy.


• Provide detailed financial forecasts, risk assessments, and scenario analyses.


• Identify and explain variances versus budget and prior forecasts; recommend corrective actions where needed


• Present financial status and forecast in the quarterly Board of Directors

Cash Flow & Liquidity Management

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, ensuring financial stability and efficiency. Removed across the region


• Partner with treasury and tax teams to optimize intercompany flows and funding strategies.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.


• Collaborate with internal audit and Group Accounting to ensure strong financial governance.


• Contribute to the enhancement of internal control systems and continuous process improvements.

Business Partnering

• Act as a financial advisor to business units, providing actionable insights for decision-making.


• Evaluate investment projects, business cases, and new initiatives, with ROI and risk analysis.

Tools & Process Optimization

• Design and maintain financial models and KPIs for performance monitoring.


• Contribute to automation, digitalization, and standardization of financial processes across the hub.


• Work with IT and BI teams to improve reporting tools and data quality.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or financial planning, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.


• Experience in a multinational and/or shared services environment is highly valued.


• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP;


• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.) and BI tools (Power BI) is preferred.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Fluent in English; additional European language(s) is an asset.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
