You will..

Be an expert and point of reference for the team regarding the following topics:

Team Leadership


  • Manage, develop and coach a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.




Collaboration and Communication:


  • Collaborate effectively with other departments (treasury, accounts payable…) or in the countries (controlling, human resources, tax…) and external stakeholders (auditors) to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.




Closing & GL analysis


  • Agree closing calendar with local team and follow up with the team, making sure all members comply with it. Follow up of the root cause of any delay, solve incidents and implement action plans.

  • Lead the team in executing month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and GL analysis.

  • Lead Balance Sheet Review and other meetings with relevant stakeholders.




Consolidation Reporting & Tax


  • Support in the preparation of the consolidation reporting for Balance Sheet prepared by the team, with special focus in equity and taxes.

  • Support in other consolidation reports (taxes, country by country report).

  • Ensure coordination with local team and Group tax department regarding tax topics: payment and calculation of taxes, taxes declarations, questions from local tax administration…

  • Review and support, if needed, country team in the preparation of corporate income tax.




Quality & Internal control


  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures regarding R2R and implement Group guidelines.

  • Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and secure accounting compliance.

  • Ensure respect of legal and tax requirements and service levels.




Finance master data


  • Lead projects to cleanse and standardize existing finance master data.

  • Collaborate with business users to understand their master data requirements and compliance with group guidelines.

  • Lead the team in executing month-end and year-end closing activities related to chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and other relevant finance data elements.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to master data quality.




Other


  • Manage the external audit for the whole Department Finance.

  • Coordinate the dividend campaign to secure the process and payment on time.

  • Lead and promote the upskilling of the team.

  • Assist the group and the Local Process Owner (LPO) in the implementation of new norms and provide feedback in the preparation of Target Finance Processes (TFP).

  • Support the country and teams for accounting topics with complex operations such as mergers, de-consolidation, business transfer…

  • Take an active role in accounting and tax tribes with significant involvement and engagement.

Requisitos mínimos

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

  • Up to 5 years' of experience in Record to Report Process.

  • Good knowledge of accounting rules accounting rules, standards and regulations.

  • High level of English is mandatory.

  • SAP knowledge is mandatory.

  • SSC experience is appreciated.
