Descripción del empleo

Join us to scale the most efficient green hydrogen technology and decarbonize industry.

Who are we

We’re a multicultural team of 20 people (and still growing), coming from different countries and backgrounds, all driven by the same purpose: creating a cleaner future through technological innovation.

At KERIONICS, we believe technology should work for the planet. We’re passionate about helping cut emissions in energy-intensive industries where fossil fuel replacement remains tough.

What are we looking for

We’re looking for a Finance & Project Operations Analyst to join our team in Valencia. Someone who wants to be part of the energy transition, helping scale one of the most promising green hydrogen technologies by ensuring solid financial management and supporting strategic partnerships.

What will you be doing

You’ll play a key role at the heart of our operations, blending financial oversight, project coordination and strategic support. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Overseeing Kerionics’ financial control: managing our treasury Excel, coordinating invoice payments with our Project Controller R&D, uploading transactions to our bank platform, and making sure everything is approved and processed on time.

  • Preparing financial reports for our CEO, giving a clear, updated view of our economic health.

  • Allocating project expenses, ensuring every invoice is properly assigned to the right project to meet budgets and funding requirements.

  • Supporting and tracking our projects end-to-end: you’ll know each project’s details, deadlines and needs, attend meetings, collect technical documentation from teammates, complete required submissions and keep everything moving. This is the most challenging — and rewarding — part of the role.

  • Handling day-to-day startup needs, from procurement tasks and managing folder access, to liaising with our legal and financial advisors and joining project meetings. No two days look the same.

You’ll also:

  • Research new funding opportunities and grants. Sometimes we’ll point you to a specific call and you’ll dive in to figure out how it works and what’s required.

  • Reach out to partners, sharing our projects and inviting them to join future initiatives.

  • Prepare project presentations, making sure our ideas and results come across clearly and convincingly.

And if it excites you, you’ll also have the chance to stay on top of trends and regulations in green hydrogen and the energy transition, adding even more strategic value to our mission.

How we work

This is a 100% on-site role at our facilities in Parque Tecnológico de Paterna (Valencia), where you’ll enjoy a collaborative environment with cutting-edge technology at your fingertips.

We start early — from 7:30, so you’ll have your afternoons free to enjoy your hobbies, sports or quality time with friends and family. We truly believe a balanced life makes us better at what we do.

What do we offer

  • €22-25K gross annual salary.

  • 22 working days of vacation per year, plus the Christmas period (December 25 to 31) off.

  • The chance to grow in a startup on a mission, working side by side with people who care deeply about building solutions for a greener future.

  • The opportunity to work in an environment where mistakes are part of learning, and feedback helps us all improve.

  • Becoming part of a multicultural team where you’ll benefit from diverse perspectives and experiences.

Your work will have a real impact on industrial decarbonization — and you’ll help scale one of the most efficient green hydrogen technologies in the market.

How to apply

Fill in the form linked to this description. We’d love to get to know you.

How will the selection process look

  • A first chat with our People & Culture team to get to know each other.

  • A conversation with the hiring manager to dive deeper into your fit for the role and team.

  • A technical test to see how you think and solve problems.

  • And finally, if everything clicks, we’ll make you an offer — usually within two weeks from our first contact.

About our culture…

At Kerionics, we make everything possible. It’s the spirit that drives our resilience, fuels our innovation, and pushes us to keep overcoming challenges — no matter how tough they get.

?We speak up. Radical honesty is how we make ideas stronger and build trust.

We get curious. Whether it’s cracking a membrane problem or rethinking how we run a morning meeting, we explore, test and learn — fast.

We’ve got each other’s backs. We share knowledge, celebrate wins big and small, and help when someone’s stuck.

We value every background. Diversity isn’t just talk — it’s how we innovate better.

We own it. We’re proactive; we don’t wait around. This is our project, and every one of us pushes it forward.

We learn from our mistakes. We’re not afraid to try, fail, and try again — that’s how we turn bold ideas into real breakthroughs.

We care. About safety, about impact, about the people next to us in the blue polo. Because the future we’re building is worth doing right, together.

Requisitos mínimos

What do you bring to the team

  • You live in Valencia (or nearby), or you’re available to relocate and start working here within 3 weeks. Our office is in Parque Tecnológico de Paterna.

  • You’re fluent in Spanish and English, ready to handle both national and European funding programmes.

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration (ADE), Engineering or a related field.

  • No previous experience required — we’re looking for someone curious, analytical and eager to learn.

Most importantly, you share our passion for sustainability and want to be part of a project that’s actively working to decarbonize the planet.
