Role Description: As Head of Tax, you will lead and oversee all tax-related matters across the Group’s international footprint, ensuring full compliance in every jurisdiction where ABEI operates. You will coordinate with local finance teams and external advisors to manage tax filings, reporting obligations, and audits, while maintaining consistency with the Group’s Transfer Pricing Policy. You will also play a strategic role in optimizing tax structures for M&A transactions, supporting the Group’s expansion into new markets, and proactively monitoring regulatory changes. This is a high-impact position offering visibility across the business and a key voice in guiding the Group’s international growth from a tax and compliance perspective. ?? Your main responsibilities will be: * Supervise and ensure tax compliance across all countries where Abei is present, coordinating the tax advisors and finance specialists of each country. * Responsible for all tax-related matters for the Group * Tax optimisation in M&A transactions, in collaboration with external advisors. * Ensure compliance with the Group's Transfer Pricing Policy. * Be up to date with new tax requirements in collaboration with external advisors. * Advise on the applicable tax rules and compliance in new countries where the group explores business opportunities.

Within its Biomethane division, Abei Energy is currently acquiring operational biogas/biomethane plants in Spain, Italy, Poland, and the USA. Additionally, it has a portfolio of more than 20 greenfield initiatives under development in these countries, with RTB (Ready to Build) projected starting in 2029. In the medium term, the company plans to expand into new countries, offering strong international growth potential for this role. ?? Your main responsibilities: * Participation in the Global Biomethane Committee, making decisions from a technical-operational perspective. * Technical involvement in project design and review from the development phase, providing operational insights (layout, waste, digestate, flows, maintenance, safety). * Participation in M&A processes: leading Due Diligence (internal and external) on all technical-operational aspects of the facilities. * Lead the commissioning and later operation of the plant, including team management, KPI compliance, and coordination with other departments. * Supervision of the anaerobic digestion and upgrading process, ensuring technical performance, waste and digestate management, as well as compliance with environmental and biomethane quality standards.
