  • Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks to maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the timely closure of monthly and quarterly reporting.

  • Maintaining up-to-date billing records.

  • Monthly Accounts reconciliations

  • Match invoices against POs issued by the Sourcing department and ensure all approval requirements have been meet before processing invoices in ERP.

  • Submit new AP Supplier Request forms to the Sourcing department

  • Verify payment authorization from appropriate managers and in accordance with the levels of approval.

  • Record transactions from bank statements and ensure bank accounts are aligned to keep financial records accurate.

  • Coordinate with the Tax department to monitor correct tax payments and prepare for VAT monthly tax returns or other tax returns according to local statutory requirements

  • Accounts Payable: processing daily payments, ensuring timely transactions. Schedule payables based on payment terms and monitoring of receivables.

  • Handle various accounting queries and projects to provide timely resolutions to the Head of Finance.

  • Ensure our accounting tool, Netsuite, is up-to-date and accurately reflects all financial transactions.

  • Improve accounting processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions.

  • Support the Team with advanced account reconciliations and mass reconciliation activities.

Requisitos mínimos

  • You have completed an economic / finance degree and you are a specialist in finance and accounting in Spanish Gaap and legal Vat regulations.

  • 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience in SPAIN.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
