Our client is an international cooperative bank with Dutch origins. They employ more than 49,000 colleagues across 35 countries. In the Netherlands, they offer financial products and services to both private and commercial customers. Worldwide, they focus on the Food & Agri sector.





  • Lead the preparation of high-quality credit proposals and reviews, including detailed financial, and risk analysis for new transactions and existing clients.

  • Independently assess creditworthiness, assign internal ratings, and structure credit products in line with bank's risk appetite and policies.

  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Product Specialists on deal origination, structuring and execution, including participation in client meetings, due diligence, and transaction structuring while exercising a high degree of autonomy and professional judgment in assessing and managing credit risk.

  • Monitor a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring timely annual reviews, covenant checks, and early identification of potential credit issues.

  • Provide clear, well-reasoned recommendations to Credit Committees and respond to queries from senior stakeholders and approvers.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of relevant sectors, market trends, and macroeconomic developments impacting risk profiles.

  • Liaise and cooperate with internal stakeholders including Risk Management, Head Office, Product teams, and Restructuring teams as needed.

  • Contribute to the development of junior analysts and promote best practices within the credit community.

Requisitos mínimos

Profile & Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk analysis within corporate or investment banking. Knowledge of Food & Agri or consumer sector is a plus.

  • Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to independently manage complex credit files and transactions.

  • Deep understanding of financial statements, cash Flow modeling, and credit structuring.

  • Written and oral proficiency in Spanish and English is a must (Portuguese is a plus).

  • High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability in managing credit processes.

  • Proficiency in Excel and banking credit systems; experience with banks' internal rating and profitability models is desirable.

  • Familiar with structured finance products, leverage lending, derivatives, asset based finance, is a plus.
