You will work under the supervision of Prof. Maya Rossignac-Milon and Prof. Romain Boulogne, splitting your time between the two professors’ projects. Maya examines how the experience of shared reality—being on the same wavelength and merging minds—explains what makes people “click” with each other in conversation and draws friends, romantic partners, and coworkers closer. Romain explores how organizations respond to social and institutional complexity—examining the adoption of stakeholder governance models, the role of categorization in entrepreneurial strategy, and the long-term impact of social unrest, place, and impact investing on firm behavior and resilience.
The position is ideal for a recent graduate with a social sciences degree (bachelor’s or master’s) who is interested in exploring a research career in psychology, organizational behavior, behavioral science, strategy, or related fields. Potential candidates must be organized, autonomous, hard-working, motivated to learn, and at least B2 fluency in English and Spanish.
In addition, an ideal candidate may have experience reading academic papers and conducting literature searches, may be familiar with survey tools such as Qualtrics, may have experience conducting behavioral experiments (in the laboratory or online), and may be familiar with statistical software packages like R and other data science tools.
